Outcomes
What do Outcomes Mean?
Success can be measured in distance travelled and positive outcomes. This is true in the case of many of the children and the families that we work with. Giving children the opportunity to develop, form and change is the only start.
Being empowered by our interventions and ensuring that they are meaningful and worthwhile is of paramount importance to us.
At Albury, we use outcome measures to evidence the progress made by the young person. It is through these assessments that we are able to derive a support plan that caters to the individual development needs of each child. The information gathered through this process is then used to inform best practices.
It informs the kind of training and support that may be beneficial to the team surrounding the child to ensure continual growth and change.
Our belief is that every child can be helped!
That can mean that sometimes, simply the adults and carers around the child are just trying to figure out how.
